WORLD OLYMPUS OF THE ARTS
This world class event will be a global press launch of what will become one of the most important international cultural institutions in the world sailing the globe on a ship.
A gesture of people of all nations joining together in a cultural mosaic that will reach out to entire populations of people globally. Artists will embrace audiences through music, art, dance, theater and all forms of the cultural arts. Traveling the great oceans of the world, our future vessel will go from city to city creating an international display of world culture free for the public. There will be performances in theaters, parks, senior homes, universities, elementary schools and venues throughout every city visited combined with global television and internet broadcasting.
On June 18th, 19th, and 20th, 2010 the QUEEN MARY will host a global press launch with a celebration of world culture from her permanent birth in Long Beach, California. There will be live dance performances, concerts, art displays, children’s amusements, mini-tourism convention, an international film festival, community fund raisers and a grand gala hosted by Ambassadors and luminaries. The opening night will include an international ship buffet like none other afloat in the world. It will break the Guinness World Book of Records as it will stretch almost the full length of the Queen Mary. This mother ship of all ships will be in full regalia as she takes center stage once again making history and breaks world records. You won’t want to miss the boat as she takes passengers on a virtual world tour of cultures assembled from all continents in this passionate gesture of global goodwill.
