A Passion Hidden and Refound!
If you are looking for your passion, see if you can relate to this? Zozo wrote: “ I have been busting my butt on this career issue of mine, the issue that I created with conversation. In an act of inspiring myself, I took a personal day off from work just to deal with what is important to me, my career. One thing I have known since a young age is that I am an artist. Today I realized that there was a point in life when I told myself that artists are not valued in this culture. That is when I started pursuing things that are not my passion. Ever since then, I have been knowing that I am not intrinsically valuable and have been constantly seeking validation from whomever or whatever I deem to be the authority at that moment. That conversation is a flickering candle, about to die. The sun on the horizon is my new life as an artist. One who is nourished with inspiration, who knows what people want, who respects her dreams, and whose eye is the beholder of style.
My mission is to inspire people to be understood and valued. To inspire the mysterious place where they were afraid to look…only to find that it is breathtaking and beautiful. One who experiences my work will feel sophisticated, peaceful and of the future. I will be a living example of an artist that is valued in this culture. I can see now that that is what I always wanted, that was the possibility present and the origin of my career breakdown.”
